Ray Allen . A confident first solo

Ray Allen is used to putting people to sleep. Boring ? No , just another anaesthetist .
However there was no sleeping on the job today as Ray performed the most difficult operation of the week embarking on his first solo flight in the school Thruster. After a few practice circuits with an instructor Ray confidently took to the skies on his own for a circuit of the airfield , arriving back at the clubhouse15 minutes later with an indelible grin on his face (and it wasnt the result of nitrous oxide inhalation).
The celebrations in the clubhouse involved the consumption of microwaved cheeseburgers, medium priced Lidls coffee and heaped praise upon the latest pilot to join our ranks . (We tend to spare no expense when we are happy).
