Steve McKnight Passes GST

Steve McKnight designs Websites for Holiday Lets and other various small enterprises including local flying schools. But today his designs were definitely on a piece of paper with the endorsement NPPL Licence. So Steve took the plunge despite the instructors comments that he had never seen (section deleted by webmaster). The weather was dreadful and even the pigeons were hiding behind the hangar but Steve demonstrated a perfect crosswind takeoff. The practice engine failure turned out to be one of his best ever and Steve also managed to find his way back to the airfield and execute a short field landing on runway 26. There was little the examiner could do but congratulate Steve on a superb flight and hand him the coveted GST PASS certificate. On hearing the news Steve's instructor initially collapsed and upon recovery said (section deleted by webmaster). Steve commented that (he owed his pass to a lot of practice, reading and that it had nothing to do with that sadistic sod of an instructor [section replaced by webmaster]). Steve now joins the XG group of Microlighters.
