Keith Matier SOLO at last

Keith Matier is just one of those guys whose toast always falls on the carpet butter side down , and this has translated to most of his flying training taking place on miserable days with vicious crosswinds . It had been over a year since he started flying but today the Sky Gods smiled and -- NO WIND. Keith could not believe his luck and took the opportunity to register his first solo flight. The circuit was quite busy so Keith had to extend his flight to accommodate the two aircraft ahead. (lookout OK then). The landing looked good and Keith taxied back for a well earned cup of black tea and the presentation of his first solo cap .
Keith left the airfield to offer human sacrifice in his back garden to the Wind Gods.
